Lunova takes its name from Latin lumen and novus, light and new, and the reference is to finish: the steel here is polished all over rather than brushed, which is not how Mühle usually treats a case. The result leans formal without being fussy.

Cognac vintage leather softens that polish and picks up the warmer tones in the black-gray gradient dial, which darkens toward the rim so the minute track reads cleanly. Date at 3 o'clock through an aperture Mühle enlarged by roughly a third, not a big date module but simply a larger window.
