Luna Arch Leather Model [UG01-CVLNVL-SSD]
MINASE cites the trimming on historical armor as one reference for the Luna Arch case, which sounds unlikely until you see this violet version, where a dark jewel tone sits inside a bright polished frame.
Launched in 2023, the Luna Arch was among the first MINASE watches designed on the theme of elegance, and it is built on a clamping structure rather than the case-in-case architecture used in the brand's larger models. A streamlined bezel clasps the sapphire crystal from above, in the manner of the bezel setting a jeweler uses to hold a stone, and the crystal shows through the gap between bezel and case. Its dial pattern comes from light scattering across the surface of the Minase River, near the workshop in Akita where the watch is finished.
This configuration pairs the violet dial with a violet leather strap, the most saturated combination in the range. The case measures 30.5 mm wide, 37.1 mm long including the lugs and 8.7 mm thick, and a Japanese-made Miyota calibre 2036 quartz movement drives it, with a battery life of roughly three years behind a sapphire crystal.
Rated 5 atm, it copes with rain and splashes but not swimming. Every MINASE is essentially made to order, so this is a watch that arrives rather than sits waiting.
Perfect for: violet and purple watch collectors, tone-on-tone leather strap designs, buyers seeking a small watch with real color.
