Luna Arch Leather Model [UG01-CBENBE-SSD]

Tone on tone is the hardest look to pull off and the easiest to wear. The MINASE Luna Arch does it here with a beige dial above a beige leather strap, and lets the polished case draw the only hard line in the composition.

The Luna Arch was launched by MINASE in 2023, part of the brand's first work on the theme of elegance. Its case is built on a clamping structure rather than case-in-case: a streamlined bezel clasps the sapphire crystal from above in the manner of a jeweler's setting, leaving the crystal visible through the gap where bezel meets case. The dial pattern is taken from the random reflection of light on the surface of the Minase River, and on a warm color it reads more like sand than water.

The case measures 30.5 mm wide, 37.1 mm long including the lugs and 8.7 mm thick, which is slight enough to wear all day without noticing. The movement is a Japanese-made Miyota calibre 2036 quartz with a battery life of around three years, and the crystal is sapphire. Metal surfaces are hand-finished with Sallaz polishing in Akita.

Rated 5 atm, it will take rain but not a swim. Beige leather softens quickly and settles into the wrist within a few weeks.
