Luna Arch Bracelet Model [UG01-M01NWH-SSB]

At 8.7 mm thick the MINASE Luna Arch is the thinnest watch the brand builds, and the white dial version is the one that makes that most obvious. There is almost nothing to it on the wrist.

Thinness is possible here because the Luna Arch, introduced in 2023, runs a quartz movement rather than an automatic, and because its clamping structure does away with the layered case-in-case build MINASE uses in its mechanical lines. A single streamlined bezel clasps the sapphire crystal from above, in the manner of jewelry bezel setting, and the crystal shows through the gap between bezel and case so that the profile never looks solid.

This is the white dial on a steel bracelet, the cleanest configuration in the line. The dial carries MINASE's pattern of scattered light drawn from the Minase River, which keeps a white face from reading as blank. The case measures 30.5 mm wide, 37.1 mm long including the lugs and 8.7 mm thick, and the movement is a Japanese-made Miyota calibre 2036 quartz with a battery life of about three years.

Water resistance is 5 atm, adequate for rain and washing but not for swimming. As with all MINASE watches, it is basically built to order.
