Luna Arch Bracelet Model "Stone-clamped (Diamond)" [UG01-M01NNV-SSBD]
Navy is the color the Luna Arch dial pattern was waiting for. MINASE draws that pattern from the way light scatters off the surface of the Minase River, and against a deep navy ground it reads like water at dusk.
Luna Arch arrived in 2023, among the first MINASE watches designed around the theme of elegance. It leaves the brand's case-in-case architecture behind in favor of a clamping structure: a streamlined bezel holds the sapphire crystal from above, in the manner of a jeweler's bezel setting, and the crystal stays visible through the gap between bezel and case. That sliver of transparency is what gives the watch its lightness, and MINASE describes the effect as mirror-polished metal and sapphire melting into a drop about to trickle down.
This is the Stone-clamped execution, set with diamonds and supplied on a steel bracelet. In this form the case measures 31.3 mm wide, 37.1 mm long including the lugs and 8.7 mm thick, flat enough to sit under a cuff without a fight. Timekeeping is by a Japanese-made Miyota calibre 2036 quartz movement, with a battery life of roughly three years, so the watch is ready whenever it is picked up.
Water resistance is 5 atm, which covers rain and splashes rather than swimming. Like every MINASE, it is essentially made to order and hand-finished by Sallaz polishing before it leaves Akita.
Perfect for: navy dial quartz watch buyers, diamond-set dress watch shoppers, collectors of Japanese hand-finished cases.
