The Kaenos Open Date is the sporty-chic end of MeisterSinger, the Münster brand that has made single-hand watches in Switzerland since 2001. Named from the Greek kainos, new, and recognized with an iF Design Award in 2025, Kaenos was drawn from the start as an integrated-bracelet watch rather than a case with a bracelet attached. The Open Date version replaces the standard model's framed date window with a rotating disc left completely uncovered below twelve o'clock.

Against the gray dial, the exposed date and the fine printed scale sit in quiet balance. One hand handles the time: the numeral it points to gives the hour, and its position between numerals gives your progress through it, in five-minute steps that MeisterSinger describes as readable almost to the minute. The 40 mm stainless steel case is water resistant to 10 bar and runs a Sellita SW200 automatic reworked to drive that long needle without wobble, on a matching steel H-link bracelet.
