HAMBURG satined-silver silver / Vintage mocha

Silver and mocha is the combination most people picture when they picture a classic watch. The Sternglas HAMBURG offers it without ornament, which is rather the point.

This is the collection Sternglas named after the city it designs in, drawing on the measuring instruments of seafaring. The dial carries printed Arabic numerals and a fine outer minute scale instead of the reduced markers on the brand's smaller models, and the case is scaled to 42 mm to keep all of it legible.

Satin silver describes the finish rather than an edition: a lightly domed dial, sandblasted to a satin sheen, shading softly toward the rim. The case is 42 mm of silver-tone stainless steel with 20 mm lugs, the movement is quartz with a date display, and the crystal is double-domed sapphire coated against reflections on both sides. Water resistance is 5 bar. The Vintage strap in mocha is a mid-brown leather with a broken-in look to it.
