HAMBURG satined-silver silver / Vintage midnight blue

Midnight blue leather is a small deviation from black and a surprisingly large one on the wrist. Against the satin silver dial of this Sternglas HAMBURG it reads formal at a distance and considered up close.

The HAMBURG collection is the brand's tribute to its home city, and the reference point is nautical instrumentation: full numerals, a hairline outer minute track, luminous hands, high contrast. The screwed caseback carries an engraved map of Hamburg. Sternglas backs the watch with a 24-month international warranty.

The dial is domed and sandblast-satin, with a gentle gradation toward the edge, set in a 42 mm silver-tone steel case with 20 mm lugs. A quartz movement drives the hands and the date. Double-domed sapphire with double anti-reflective coating covers it, and the case is rated to 5 bar. The Vintage strap is midnight blue leather, the one color in this group that is neither black nor brown.
