HAMBURG Pro Automatic dark green bronze / Vintage 20 mocha bronze

Green, bronze and brown is a palette that comes from outdoors rather than from a design brief. The Sternglas HAMBURG Pro Automatic assembles it here with a dark green dial, a bronze-tone case and a mocha leather strap.

Hamburg gives this collection its name and its logic. Sternglas, based in the city since its founding in 2016, modeled the HAMBURG line on measuring instruments used at sea, which is why the dial is bolder and more technical than the brand's reduced Bauhaus-inspired designs.

The case measures 42 mm in 316L stainless steel with a bronze tone that plays directly into the brown of the strap. Sapphire crystal with double anti-reflective coating sits over the dark green dial, an automatic movement drives the hands and a date display without a battery in sight, and the watch is rated to 5 bar. The Vintage leather strap in mocha is 20 mm at the lugs.

Three warm-to-earthy tones in sequence. It looks best against wool, waxed cotton and anything with a bit of texture to it.
