Hafen is German for harbor, and the edition sits on the maritime side of the catalog. The HAMBURG line already borrows from seafaring measuring instruments, with numerals printed at every hour, a fine outer minute scale and a 42 mm case built around legibility. Sternglas has worked from Hamburg since 2016 and backs its watches with a 24-month international warranty.

This configuration puts a gray dial in a silver-tone stainless steel case, running a quartz movement with a date display, under double-domed sapphire with double anti-reflective coating. Water resistance is 5 bar. The strap is the Field line: woven nylon 1.5 mm thick in signal orange, 20 mm wide, mounted on Sternglas's tool-free quick-change fitting, so trading it for leather takes seconds.

Light on the wrist, loud in the right way, and washable, which leather is not.
