HAMBURG Chrono green bronze / Field 20 green

Green on bronze tone is a field-equipment palette, and the Sternglas HAMBURG Chrono in green with a green nylon strap leans into it completely.

Sternglas built the HAMBURG collection as a tribute to the city it works in, taking its dial language from the measuring instruments of seafaring. That means large Arabic numerals, a fine minute scale running the perimeter, Luminova on the hands and markers, and a screwed caseback engraved with a Hamburg map showing the Alster, the Reeperbahn, the Speicherstadt and the Landungsbrücken.

This configuration sets a green dial in a 42 mm bronze-toned case and runs it on a Field strap in green, 1.5 mm nylon on 20 mm lugs with tool-free attachment. The movement is a Seiko/TMI VK64 meca-quartz chronograph, pairing quartz timekeeping with a mechanically driven chronograph hand that sweeps at five steps per second and resets with a snap. A 24-hour register and a date at six sit on the dial, under double-domed sapphire with double anti-reflective coating, rated to 5 bar.

Nylon is light, washable and indifferent to weather. Combined with the warm case, this is the Chrono at its most rugged.
