Sternglas designs the HAMBURG collection around its home city and around seafaring instrumentation, giving it the most legible dials in the range: large Arabic numerals, a fine outer minute scale and Luminova. The Edition Vintage runs that dial through 1960s styling and pairs it with a gold-toned case rather than plain steel.

Here the 42 mm gold-toned case and dark green dial are matched to the SuperSlim bracelet in gold, a slim 316L stainless steel design with a brushed 316L clasp. It is a bracelet, not a leather strap, in spite of the name. The engine is a Seiko/TMI VK64 meca-quartz chronograph, combining quartz accuracy with a mechanically driven chronograph hand that moves in five steps per second and resets instantly. The dial carries a 24-hour register and a date at six, sealed to 5 bar under double-domed sapphire with double anti-reflective coating.
