Sternglas has been designing in Hamburg since 2016, and the HAMBURG collection is where that city shows up most directly. The dials answer to seafaring instruments rather than dress conventions: bold Arabic numerals, a fine outer minute track and Luminova. Edition Neuwerk sits among the brand's named editions and is limited to a numbered run of 1,999 pieces.

The 42 mm stainless steel case frames a black dial with a 24-hour register and a date at six, and the bracelet is the SuperSlim in silver, a 316L steel design just 2.2 mm thick with a brushed 316L clasp. Note that SuperSlim is a bracelet rather than a leather strap, despite the name. The movement is a Seiko/TMI VK64 meca-quartz, combining quartz accuracy with a mechanically driven chronograph that sweeps at five steps per second and resets with a snap, running roughly three years per battery. Double-domed sapphire with double anti-reflective coating, 5 bar.
