HAMBURG Chrono dark blue silver / SuperSlim 20 silver

Most chronographs get bulkier when you put them on a bracelet. The SuperSlim, at 2.2 mm thick, does the opposite for the Sternglas HAMBURG Chrono.

HAMBURG is the collection where Sternglas leans on its home city and on the visual language of seafaring instruments: heavy Arabic numerals, a fine outer minute track, Luminova, and a screwed caseback engraved with a map of Hamburg tracing the Alster, the Reeperbahn, the Speicherstadt and the Landungsbrücken.

This configuration is all steel and dark blue. The 42 mm stainless steel case holds a dark blue dial with a 24-hour register and a date at six, and the bracelet is SuperSlim 20 in silver, a slim 316L steel design with a brushed 316L clasp. Timekeeping comes from a Seiko/TMI VK64 meca-quartz calibre, which combines quartz accuracy with a mechanically driven chronograph hand that moves in five steps per second and resets with a snap. Battery life is around three years. Double-domed sapphire with double anti-reflective coating, 5 bar.

Steel on steel, with the dial carrying all the color. It is the most restrained way to wear the Chrono and the easiest to wear daily.
