HAMBURG Chrono dark blue silver / metal strap 20 silver
A chronograph on a steel bracelet is the default for a reason: nothing to break in, nothing to replace, and it survives being worn every single day. This is the Sternglas HAMBURG Chrono in that form.
The HAMBURG collection is Sternglas's homage to its home city, with dials modeled on seafaring measuring instruments. Numerals are large and unadorned, a fine minute scale runs around the perimeter, the hands and indices carry Luminova, and the screwed caseback is engraved with a map of Hamburg marking the Alster, the Reeperbahn, the Speicherstadt and the Landungsbrücken.
This version fits the 42 mm stainless steel case and dark blue dial to a 20 mm stainless steel bracelet in silver, giving the watch a single continuous tone from lug to clasp. The Seiko/TMI VK64 meca-quartz calibre pairs quartz regulation with a mechanically driven chronograph, so the elapsed-seconds hand sweeps at five steps per second rather than ticking, and resets instantly. Date at six, 24-hour register, around three years per battery, double-domed sapphire with double anti-reflective coating, 5 bar.
If you want one watch that handles a desk, a workshop and a dinner without a strap change, this is the configuration to choose.
Perfect for: steel bracelet chronographs, one-watch collections, low-maintenance everyday watches.
