HAMBURG is the collection in which Sternglas turns toward its home city and toward the instruments of the sea. Legibility governs the dial: heavy Arabic numerals, a fine minute scale printed around the outside, Luminova on the hands and markers. The Edition Marine variant is distinguished by its caseback, engraved with a windjammer rather than the Hamburg street map used elsewhere in the line.

The 42 mm case is gold-toned, the dial dark blue and satin-finished, and the bracelet is Milanaise 20 in gold: 316L stainless steel woven mesh, 2.5 mm thick, closed by a sliding clasp that adjusts to any length rather than in fixed increments. Attachment is tool-free.
