HAMBURG Automatic Edition Argo silver / Super Slim metal strap

The Argo was the ship that carried Jason and his crew, and its name still hangs in the southern sky as the old constellation Argo Navis. Sternglas borrowed it for a limited run of the HAMBURG Automatik, of which this silver version on the SuperSlim metal bracelet is one.

The HAMBURG collection is the brand's homage to the port city where it is based, its dials descended from the measuring instruments of navigation. Edition Argo belongs to the maritime side of the catalogue, and the run is limited to 1,999 numbered pieces. The Hamburg Automatik design took an iF Design Award in 2023.

The case measures 42 mm in 316L stainless steel with a silver finish, under sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on both faces, rated to 5 bar. An automatic movement winds itself from the wrist and drives a date display. The SuperSlim bracelet is a slim stainless steel band, 2.2 mm thick and 20 mm at the lugs, closing on a brushed 316L clasp.
