Casio's Love The Sea And The Earth releases have run since 1994, and the ones worth owning are the ones where the design idea survives the message.
The GA-2100K is a G-SHOCK 2100 Series model on the thin octagonal Carbon Core Guard case, given a translucent brown band that shows the case structure through it. The 2100 is the right platform for a transparent strap because there is so little watch to hide.
Black and red across the face, translucent brown on the band, case 45.4 mm across and 11.8 mm deep at 51 grams. Skeleton hands over the LCD, Neobrite on the markers, double LED lighting. Module 5611 carries 31 time zones, a 1/100-second stopwatch, a countdown timer and five daily alarms, running three years on a pair of cells. 200 m water resistant.
Warmer and stranger than the standard black, and the sort of reference that becomes hard to find later.
