The MUDMAN is the oldest idea in the Master of G family: seal the buttons against grit and the watch will outlast the conditions that kill other watches.
The G-9000 has been in production since 2006 and belongs to G-SHOCK's Master of G line, where each model is built for one environment. Here that is mud and dust, handled by protected button structures rather than by simply adding a thicker gasket.
All black, in a resin case with steel reinforcement measuring 52 by 46.3 mm and 16.3 mm deep at 56 grams. Module 3031 gives 31 time zones, a stopwatch, a countdown timer, alarms and a full auto-calendar, on a three-year battery. 200 m water resistant.
Light, plain and long-running. The least complicated Master of G, and the one that has needed the fewest revisions.
Perfect for: MUDMAN watches, mud resistant digital watches, simple Master of G field watches.
