FIVE WINDOWS Mid size Leather Model Stone-clamped (Diamond) [VM07-C02WDD]

MINASE’s stone-clamped references take the FIVE WINDOWS Mid and add diamonds without softening anything about the case. The geometry stays angular, the polish stays flat, and the stones read as one more kind of light entering an already very transparent watch.

The Windows case is built to admit light: sapphire at the front, sapphire in the case sides, sapphire across the display back. MINASE describes the intent as capturing garden scenery and projecting it onto the dial, in the spirit of a yukimi shoji screen. Underneath sits the case-in-case structure, with a curved dial and an index ring held in an inner case that the outer case then encloses.

Reference VM07-C02WDD is the Stone-clamped (Diamond) FIVE WINDOWS Mid on a leather strap, about 67.3 g. The case measures 32 mm wide, 40.3 mm long and 11.6 mm thick including the crystal, and the movement is the self-winding caliber KT8001 with date, a Swiss ETA 2671 / Sellita SW100 base finished by MINASE. Water resistance is 5 atm, for rain and splashes.
