Edition Silberstein Kaenos Open Date – black/gold
Same collaboration, same 225-piece run, one significant difference: here the date has no window at all.
The MeisterSinger X Alain Silberstein Edition Kaenos Open Date shows the date on a fully exposed rotating ring read below 12 o'clock, rather than through the framed rectangular aperture of its Grand Date sibling. Everything else is pure Silberstein: a jet-black dial with golden applied markers at 12, 3, 6 and 9, fine dots replacing the quarter-hour marks, a three-dimensional silver logo and a recessed golden circle at the center. The hour is carried by a dominant red arrow, and a golden seconds hand runs alongside it, so this is not a single-hand watch.
The case is 40 mm of stainless steel, 11.2 mm tall, on the Kaenos integrated H-link steel bracelet, water resistant to 10 bar. Inside is a Sellita SW200 automatic running at 4 Hz with a 38-hour reserve. Released in 2025 with dedicated packaging and an edition booklet, each piece one of 225.
The open date is the more architectural of the two executions, and the one that best matches Silberstein's habit of showing you how a thing works.
Perfect for: open date dial enthusiasts, designer collaboration watches, steel bracelet sports watch collectors.
