Edition Silberstein Kaenos Grand Date – black/gold
A red arrow instead of a needle, a golden seconds hand where there is normally none, and a big date framed at 6 o'clock. Alain Silberstein has been rearranging watch dials for decades, and this one is unmistakably his.
The MeisterSinger X Alain Silberstein Edition Kaenos Grand Date is a collaboration with the French designer and architect, built on the Kaenos, the brand's sporty integrated-bracelet model whose name comes from the Greek kainos, new or fresh. The jet-black dial carries golden applied markers at 12, 3, 6 and 9, fine dots in place of the usual quarter-hour markers, a three-dimensional silver logo and a recessed golden inner circle. Note that this is not a one-hand watch: the dominant red hour arrow is joined by a golden seconds hand.
The 40 mm stainless steel case is 11.2 mm tall with an integrated H-link steel bracelet and 10 bar water resistance. A Sellita SW400 automatic beats at 4 Hz for 38 hours, its black-and-gold rotor visible through the caseback. Limited to 225 pieces in 2025, with special packaging and an edition booklet.
Graphic, playful and precisely made, it is the most extroverted watch in the catalog.
Perfect for: Alain Silberstein collectors, big date sports watches, black and gold integrated bracelet designs.
