Archao DLC – bordeaux
Deep bordeaux against a matte black case is a harder, more graphic pairing than red usually manages on a watch dial. That is precisely the point of this Archao DLC.
Introduced in 2026, the Archao is MeisterSinger's sporty, graphically bold design, named from the Greek archaios for primal or original. Its finely grained dial carries outsized half-hour and quarter-hour markers in white, while the five-minute scale recedes into light gray so the structure reads instantly. The signature is the luminous treatment: numerals, markers and hand are made of solid white LumiBlocks, appliquéd blocks that store light and release it far more strongly than the brand's earlier luminous material.
Here the 43 mm case is stainless steel under a matte black diamond-like carbon coating, carrying a bordeaux dial and a matching bordeaux leather strap on 20 mm lugs. The single hand follows the Archao's divided geometry, its long triangular tip balanced by a tail extending past the center. Driving it is a Sellita SW200 automatic modified for single-hand display, with a 38-hour power reserve and 5 bar water resistance. There is no date; the dial is left to do one job.
Wine-dark on black reads a shade dressier than the black-dial version while giving up none of the model's night legibility.
Perfect for: burgundy dial watch seekers, blacked-out case enthusiasts, buyers wanting color in a single-hand watch.
