29er Day/Date — Titanium-Gray Dial / Nautical Blue Canvas
The best detail on this dial is not the calendar. It is the sand-metallic rehaut, the raised inner ring that catches light warmly against a cool titanium-gray face, and it is the reason the 29er Day/Date never looks flat.
A contrasting colored flange is the running signature of the 29er family from Mühle-Glashütte, which was developed in 2006 and named after the 29er sailing dinghy, the class that trains crews for the Olympic 49er. Everything in the range shares the same construction: stainless steel, anti-reflective sapphire, a sapphire exhibition back, a screw-down crown and 10 bar of pressure resistance.
The Day/Date puts weekday and date together at three o'clock, a compact block of information on an otherwise clean dial with applied indices and Super-LumiNova. Central seconds sweep the full width. The steel case measures 42.4 mm across, 12.2 mm high and 49 mm lug to lug, on 22 mm nautical blue canvas with a steel pin buckle, 109 grams in total. The automatic caliber is a Swiss base finished to Mühle's own Version Mühle specification, with 41 hours of reserve and stop-seconds hacking.
A practical calendar watch that keeps its color story subtle. Gray dial, warm flange, blue strap.
Perfect for: gray dial automatic buyers, day and date complications, nautical canvas strap wear.
