29er Big — Silver-Gray Dial / Nautical Blue Canvas
Silver-grey sits between a white dial and a black one and commits to neither. Paired with nautic blue canvas, the Mühle-Glashütte 29er Big reads as a sailing watch; on another strap it would read as something else entirely.
The 29er is named after the sailing dinghy that trains youth crews for the Olympic 49er, and Mühle built it in 2006 as an introduction to Glashütte watchmaking. The Big is the larger of the two sizes, and both share the same dial architecture, the same legibility rules and the same movement family.
The case is stainless steel, 42.4 mm wide, 11.3 mm high, 49 mm lug to lug, with anti-reflective sapphire, screw-down crown and exhibition caseback. The silver-grey dial carries applied indices coated with Super-LumiNova and a date at 3 o'clock. The 22 mm blue canvas strap sits on quick-release spring bars. Inside, the automatic SW 200-1, Version Mühle runs 41 hours with stop-seconds, behind 10 bar of water resistance.
Neutral enough for every day, with just enough color at the wrist to keep it interesting.
Perfect for: silver-grey dial watches, blue strap summer wear, versatile 42 mm automatics.
