29er — Mint Dial / Steel Bracelet
On steel, mint turns cooler still. The bracelet gives the 29er's palest dial a hard edge and makes it the most year-round version of the four, whatever the color suggests. Mühle-Glashütte finishes and regulates every one of them in Glashütte.
The name is a boat: the 29er dinghy, the youth class that feeds the Olympic 49er. Mühle launched the watch in 2006 on the same principle, and gave the line its maritime manners, meaning clean dials, high contrast, no rotating bezel, and straps that come off without tools.
The mint dial keeps its applied indices, Super-LumiNova and the date at 3 o'clock. The stainless steel case runs 36.6 mm wide and 10.4 mm tall; the bracelet is 190 mm on a folding clasp. Through the exhibition caseback you can watch the SW 200-1, Version Mühle at work, its rotor weighted at the rim and secured by gold-colored rivets, with 41 hours of reserve and a rate set between zero and plus eight seconds a day.
Cool-toned, compact and completely self-sufficient.
Perfect for: mint dial steel bracelet watches, year-round compact automatics, low-maintenance daily wear.
